What SurgeLine does

SurgeLine collects publicly available statistics about videos and posts (titles, channel names, links, view, like, comment and reaction counts) from platforms' official APIs, and shows how fast they are gaining audience. This public content is not personal data about our users.

Information we collect about you

Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a link and to identify your subscription. No password is stored.
Your settings: watchlist entries and alert rules you create.
Devices: a push notification token if you turn on notifications, so alerts can reach your device.
Subscription status: whether you have an active plan, received from Apple, Google or our payment processor through RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
Technical logs: request logs with IP addresses, kept for 30 days for security and debugging.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
We do not use your data for advertising.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Where data is stored

On servers in the European Union (Amsterdam), on encrypted storage. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider; push notifications through Apple's and Google's push services.

Retention and deletion

Your account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account from the app's Account screen at any time, which removes your email, settings, devices and notifications immediately. Platform statistics are thinned after 7 and 60 days and removed after 120 days.

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. Contact us at the address below.

Platform terms

Data from YouTube is provided by YouTube API Services and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Data from Meta platforms is subject to Meta's platform terms.
